What happens to what you do here

There is no OperaAtlas account

You do not create an account to use OperaAtlas. We do not ask you to register, and we do not hold a profile about you. Accounts and synchronised journeys are planned for a later phase; when they arrive, this page will be updated to describe them.

We do not take payment

OperaAtlas does not collect payment, does not handle payment-card details, and does not operate a combined checkout. Every booking happens with the external provider, under their own systems and their own privacy policies.

Your journey is saved on your device

The evening you compose — the performance, date, chosen door and chapters — may be saved locally in your browser’s storage on your own device, so it is still there when you return or refresh. This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to an OperaAtlas account, because none exists.

Web analytics

Deployed OperaAtlas pages use Vercel Web Analytics to understand basic traffic such as page views, referrers, browser/device categories and country-level usage. Vercel describes this product as first-party and cookie-free: it does not use analytics cookies or local storage to track visitors across websites. OperaAtlas does not use this analytics layer to build advertising profiles.

External providers and affiliate referrals

When you follow a provider link — for example to a box office, hotel, restaurant, experience marketplace or transport service — you leave OperaAtlas and become subject to that provider’s privacy policy. If a link is an active affiliate link, the outbound URL may contain a referral or reporting identifier so the provider or affiliate network can attribute an eligible booking to OperaAtlas. Live affiliate links are visibly labelled as such before you click them.

Advertising and other tracking

OperaAtlas does not currently load advertising trackers or affiliate tracking scripts on its own pages merely because an outbound affiliate link exists. If non-essential cookies, local-storage trackers, advertising scripts or comparable technologies are introduced later, they will be tied to an appropriate consent mechanism and this page will be updated before they are activated.
